(Newser) – John Travolta has apologized for totally butchering Idina Menzel's name at the Oscars Sunday. "Here to perform the Oscar-nominated, gorgeously empowering song 'Let It Go' from the Oscar-winning animated movie Frozen, please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only Adele Dazeem," he said, using a pronunciation of Menzel's name that wasn't even close. "I've been beating myself up all day," Travolta told CNN in a statement yesterday. "Then I thought ... what would Idina Menzel say? She'd say, Let it go, let it go! Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!" No hard feelings from Menzel on the whole thing. According to E!, the singer gave Travolta a hug after the performance was over and laughed it off.
