(Newser) – The man who angered some Jeopardy fans has finally claimed his last Daily Double: Arthur Chu, who utilized some controversial game-playing tactics, was defeated last night after winning nearly $300,000 over the course of 12 games. The clue that derailed him: "He was the last male monarch who had not previously been Prince of Wales." Chu's incorrect answer: "Who was George II?" Who ended his reign? A University of Michigan law student named Anna Peloquin.

Arthur Chu wasn't "arrogant" in ANY way! If anything, he was shy, quick, and somewhat brilliant. I tuned in to watch him play every day and enjoyed his strategy. We'll all see him play again in the coming weeks.

And just like with Jennings, the contestant that dethroned the champion lost the next round. Found Chu's method of playing different, but not objectionable. Always grand to watch a brilliant competitor.
