Suspect Daniel Luna.   (Police photo)

(Newser) – A 4-year-old Phoenix girl is safe after a bizarre incident involving a suspected kidnapper, reports MyFoxPhoenix. A police officer on his way to a burglary call about 3am stopped a bicyclist who was riding with the pajamas-clad girl in his lap. Daniel Luna, 37, first said he came across the girl wandering around lost and was trying to help, but then changed his story and said he went into the wrong house after a night of bar hopping and thought the girl was his stepdaughter. Police charged Luna with kidnapping and say he got into the girl's house through an unlocked door while her parents were sleeping, reports ABC15. He got stopped about a block away.

I wonder how long he had his eye on this child and how many nights he tried the doors before he found one unlocked. Check all your doors and windows every night. You don't know what's out there.

We live in a world full of many "Sick" people. Thank God this guy was caught 1 block away from the house where he snatched the girl. I hope this guy will be locked away for life. Hopefully this was his first and last attempt. No question about his guilt.. he was caught red handed. No need for a long drawn out court trial.

People of the United States of America, Just take him out to the back 40 and shoot him in the head and do everyone a favor. Because at some point jail doesn't cut it and examples have to be made.
