Kirsten Dunst Checks In to Rehab (Maybe)

Posted Feb 7, 08 10:26 PM CST in Gossip Arts & Living

(Newser) – Rumors are swirling that another Hollywood A-lister has entered rehab, reports E! This time it's Kirsten Dunst, who reportedly is being treated at the famed Cirque Lodge in Utah. A spokesman for the facility denies that Dunst is there (or ever has been). However, People magazine quotes an unnamed friend as saying the Spider-Man actress is indeed there and "not doing well."

That same friend said the death of Heath Ledger is likely what caused Dunst to seek help. The gossip mills began to churn when the normally stable Dunst acted strangely at a Sundance Film Festival event. One pal said she was near a nervous breakdown, PageSix notes. A representative for Dunst has yet to comment on the reports.
