No. 9 Stanford avenged it last loss by hammering Oregon 72-43 last night, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. It was the 22nd straight time the Cardinal, winners of six in a row, have beaten the Ducks at home. The Ducks are the highest scoring team in the Pac-10, but the stingy Cardinal held them to their lowest scoring since 1991.

Stanford (19-3, 8-2) was clicking on offense as well, making 12 of its first 16 shots. Brothers Robin Lopez (15 points) and Brook Lopez (12) sparked the scoring. "Our offensive execution was as good as it's been all year," said Stanford Coach Trent Jackson. Oregon thought it was even better. "They embarrassed us," said Oregon guard Malik Hairston.
