Three people, including the pilot, managed to jump to safety using parachutes when a plane carrying skydivers experienced trouble over western Finland; another eight were killed when the aircraft crashed and caught fire, the BBC reports. Witnesses saw the three jump from the American-made Comp Air 8 light utility aircraft before it came down at a steep angle, the Wall Street Journal reports. Investigators probing the country's worst plane accident in decades say they are looking into reports that some parts fell off the plane during the final moments of flight. (More skydiving stories.)
