(Newser) – A Pennsylvania bride is in jail after she admitted to shooting and killing her niece just hours after getting married Thursday. Police say 30-year-old bride Christina George-Harvan was celebrating at a bar that night with her new husband and 21-year-old Katelyn Francis, who was visiting from West Virginia, and the three got into a fight over who would be the designated driver. George-Harvan allegedly shot Francis as they were leaving the bar; she says it was an accident. After the shooting, police put George-Harvan in a robe because they needed her wedding dress for evidence.
