(Newser) – St. Mary's got its third straight win, its 20th of the season, and just another in a string of home victories by blowing out the San Francisco Dons, 76-51. Riding three weeks in the national rankings, a feat the school hasn't seen in 20 years, the Gaels are matching pace with the 1988 team that went to the NCAA tournament, AP reports.

Yusef Smith topped St. Mary's scoring with 15 points off the bench, adding to Omar Samhan's 12 points and nine boards and Patty Mills' 10 points and five steals. The Dons have won just one of their last 10 games against the Gaels, and never really had a chance last night against the 25th-ranked team, despite Dior Lowhorn's 22 points and 11 rebounds.
