(Newser) – Backup goalie Steve Valiquette helped the New York Rangers continue their dominance in Philadelphia yesterday, reports the Associated Press. Valiquette had 31 saves and the Rangers beat the Flyers for the 11th time in 12 games in Philly with a 2-0 victory. Valiquette's only other career shutout came Jan. 31 in Philly. In other NHL action:

  • Evgeni Malkin recorded his fourth straight multiple-point game with two goals and an assist to lead the Sidney Crosby-less Pittsburgh Penguins past the Los Angeles Kings 4-2.
