The White House was briefly locked down yesterday after a car followed a motorcade carrying President Obama's daughters into a restricted area. It was stopped just feet away from the White House's northwest gate and the driver was arrested and charged with unlawful entry, reports the AP. The driver, identified as Mathew Evan Goldstein, had a pass for the Treasury building next door, the New York Daily News reports. The Secret Service says nothing dangerous was found in the car and it's not clear why Goldstein entered the secure area. (More White House stories.)
