(Newser) – A tornado hunter driving through British Columbia's Kootenay National Park stopped to film a bear cub by the side of a highway—and captured the moment its mother hauled it to safety. Ricky Forbes says the bear cub was trapped on the wrong side of a concrete barrier and was screaming as cars went by, CTV reports. The mother bear can be seen looking both ways before pulling the cub up by its neck as another curious cub looks on. "It was a very amazing sight to see," he tells the Telegraph. (In Alaska, another mother bear was apparently trying to protect her cubs when she mauled a jogger, who then walked two miles for help.)

Had to look up, he did have a better chance seeing that Momma bear giving a lift to her cup then a tornado, they had the first one in 50 years last July, moved some straw and a few boards around in 15 minutes rampage.LOL
