(Newser) – Fox News is getting a little Clueless. No, that's not a dig. The No. 1 cable net has hired Stacey Dash, who played Dionne in the hit 1995 film Clueless, as a contributor, the same role Sarah Palin has at the network. According to Deadline, the 47-year-old Dash will "offer cultural analysis and commentary across various daytime and primetime programs." Dash has made frequent guest appearances on various Fox News programs since the 2012 election, when she caught major flak for supporting Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

The play on the word Clueless suffocates my logic... that is unless someone was attempting to suggest Stacey is a hair brain when it comes to politics and current events. Her demure stature, no doubt, suggests that also. But, look at this: Who would not applaud a tyke around the age of 9 who might be invited on the same Fox show to discuss the same subject matter SUCCESSFULLY. They are around; moms are just keeping watchful eyes on them. So, it's something else about Stacey, also. Maybe she is not the right complexion for a Republican standard bearer... not to anybody. Well, this is what she wants. She is a single mother with a 20-something aged son and daughter (I believe). She's got guts. Watch and see. She's 47 years old and looks astonishingly young. Maybe that's what the shoutdowns are all about. Dye your hair white, Stacey!

Clueless and Fox News, sounds like an oxymoron to me.
