No Boys Allowed: Behold, Women-Only Parking Spots
Someone in South Korea has apparently decided that women-only parking spaces should be a thing.   (Shutterstock)

This is apparently not a bad joke: South Korea is unveiling the female-only parking spot, according to reports at the Independent and NBC. The lowdown: Seoul is looking to become more "woman-friendly" via initiatives like the extra-wide, extra-long, bright pink parking spots. In case that's not obvious or patronizing enough for those of the female-and-driving persuasion, the spots will be marked with a pink-and-skirted female logo. On the (literally) bright side, the Huffington Post notes that they'll be well-lighted and closer to elevators. Oh, and for the record, this is not the first time this has happened. (More women's issues stories.)
