(Newser) – Arsenio Hall's second run as a late-night talk show host is over. CBS Television Distribution says the Arsenio Hall Show will not return for a second season. Hall made his return to late night last September after the Arsenio Hall Show version 1.0 ended in 1994. But after a solid start tapered off into lukewarm ratings, CBS decided to pull the plug.

It should have never been on in the first place. If arsenio had not won Celeberty Apprentice and begged Donald Trump to help him get back a television show it would not have happened anyway. He is one of the worst show host ever.

That was a tough spot for Arsenio. He was put in a café-size studio and I would like to have seen a better spread of audience ethnically. But apparently his appeal has been slanted. For me that is a question mark because his past appeal has been broad otherwise. No one can say he is not a talk show host. It takes a group effort to put a show together and make it a success... Oprah will testify to that! Perhaps, he has not had the best people around him. I think Arsenio will return in another talk show format. He has the conversation and I like his body language before the camera very much. Who knows? "Daytime" might work very well for him.

Maybe they could bing back Conan O'Brien for that time slot.
