(Newser) – The driver of a tractor-trailer that hit a limousine bus carrying actor Tracy Morgan has been charged in the incident, prosecutors say, via CNN. Kevin Roper, 35, of Georgia, has been charged with death by auto and assault by auto after the crash, which killed comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair and left Morgan in critical condition. Roper is expected to turn himself in today; his bail has been set at $50,000, the AP reports. Comedian Ardie Fuqua was also left in critical condition, as was fellow passenger Jeffrey Millea, a hospital rep says. Comedian Harris Stanton was released after treatment, the rep notes, while the limo driver and another passenger weren't hurt.

Oh my goodness, I love Tracy Morgan! I pray that he gets well soon and comes out alright and the same for his partners, but RIP for the one that died.

Tracy's 30 Rock castmates are reportedly urging their PR staffs to work as quickly as possible on writing the sincere, heartfelt future tweets that will be featured on TMZ, CNN, Newser and Entertainment Weekly the morning after his death about how devastated they all feel right now about the news that he passed away the previous night.
