There's multitasking and then there's the case of Dr. Arthur Zilberstein: The Seattle anesthesiologist has been suspended over a laundry list of allegations including "moral turpitude" and "preoccupation with sexual matters" that are an apparent result of his near-constant sexting—while he was supervising C-sections and other surgeries. Charges filed against Zilberstein allege that on a single day in 2013, he sent 64 texts, many of them sexually explicit, throughout the course of seven surgeries. As NBC News reports, among the texts was the instant classic, "I’m hella busy with C sections." It's not clear how the texts, sent between at least April 2013 and August 2013, came to light.

Zilberstein also stands accused of accessing medical images for sexual gratification, having sex with a patient, having sex at work, prescribing the aforementioned patient unauthorized narcotics, prescribing unauthorized controlled substances 29 times, and "depicting himself in hospital scrubs, wearing his hospital badge, and exposing his genitals" in a selfie. "Oh. And my partner walked in as I was pulling up my scrubs. I’m pretty sure he caught me," read one text. KIRO caught up with a "flustered" Zilberstein last night, and he had this to say: "I can't really talk right now. I appreciate you guys, I understand you want." (More Seattle stories.)
