The Golden State Warriors trailed for all but two minutes in last night's game, but one of those minutes included the final buzzer, meaning another hard loss for the Wizards. The 120-117 results brings Washington to its eighth straight defeat, just when it seemed that fortunes were changing, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

For most of the game, it was the Wizards making the spectacular shots, beating the buzzer, putting un-guardable players on the floor. But once the Warriors got their defense in gear and turnovers in check, they managed to capitalize on 41 points from Stephen Jackson, including a clutch 27-foot bucket. For the Wizards, Roger Mason led with 32 points, 13 of those coming in the first quarter. (More NBA stories.)
