(Newser) – Another day, another Kennedy accused of cheating on his significant other: Sources tell the Daily Mail that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cheated on his actress fiancée Cheryl Hines—and their wedding at the Kennedys' Hyannis Port compound is just weeks away. The sources say Kennedy met Chelsea Chapman Kirwan, soon-to-be-ex-wife of celebrity plastic surgeon Laurence Kirwan, sometime before the Kirwans' July 2012 separation, and that back in August 2012, Kennedy and Kirwan were on the phone five times a day.

Her husband "believes the relationship was inappropriate," one source says, and though "he doesn’t have any physical proof ... if it looks like it and sounds like it, the likelihood is they were having an affair." The National Enquirer reported last week that Kennedy was cheating on Hines with "a wealthy Connecticut socialite," and the Mail says that previously-unnamed socialite is Chapman Kirwan. The Enquirer says Kennedy "preyed on" her at their shared gym, knowing that she was in the middle of a bitter divorce, and sources say the affair started around two years ago. Kennedy and Hines got together in 2012, just months before his estranged wife Mary Richardson Kennedy committed suicide. (In other celebrity cheating news, Hank Baskett has been accused of cheating on wife Kendra Wilkinson with a transsexual model.)
