It might be a crass grab for publicity or a defiant taunt to Boko Haram, or maybe something in between: A Nigerian pop star says she will give up her virginity to the militants if they release the girls they kidnapped, reports Global Post. The 23-year-old Adokiye tells Nigeria's Vanguard website that she thinks about the girls often and "what could be happening to them," before offering the exchange. "I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents." Critics like this one say she is "insulting the world's call to Boko Haram to #Bring Our Girls Back." And it didn't help Adokiye's credibility that she said her deflower-er would need to buy her mother a jet. (More Adokiye stories.)
