(Newser) – It took a baby hook from Tyler Hansbrough with only seconds left in regulation for No.5 North Carolina to escape the determined Cavaliers last night, 75-74. Hansbrough finished with 27, and the Tar Heels survived another nail biter following Sunday's double OT victory over Clemson. Virginia have lost ten of their last 11, the AP reports. The Tar Heels, who blew an 11-point lead to lose to Georgetown in last season's Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, had flashbacks in the second half against the Cardinals.
