A year after her divorce from David Arquette was finalized, Courteney Cox is set to get married again. She's engaged to Johnny McDaid, the two announced last night in simple tweets reading, "I'm engaged to him!" and "I'm engaged to her!" along with a picture of the two together. She and McDaid, a member of Snow Patrol, have been dating six months, People reports. (Life imitates art? Cox, who stars in a show called Cougar Town, just turned 50, and McDaid is 37.)

The couple met through Just Before I Go, a film Cox directed and for which McDaid wrote three songs. (Either that or mutual friend Ed Sheeran introduced them, which is what Sheeran claims.) They were first spotted together back in December, when Cox brought McDaid to Jennifer Aniston's holiday party, Life & Style reports. Rumors of an engagement have been flying since Cox was spotted with a huge diamond ring Wednesday night in LA. Earlier this month, a source told Page Six, "All of Courteney’s friends love Johnny, which is great because Jen wasn’t so fond of David Arquette." Cox, of course, is still good friends with Arquette.
