Israel has arrested six suspects in last week's murder of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, reports Haaretz. Sources are indicating those arrested are Jewish "extremists," reports the AP, and are citing "nationalistic" motives behind Mohammed's death. There are no further details on the identities of those arrested. Skirmishes between Israel and Palestinians continued overnight, with the latter launching rocket attacks that drew Israeli airstrikes. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu pleaded for reason in opening his weekly Cabinet meeting. "Experience proves that in moments like these, one must act calmly and responsibly, not hysterically and hastily," he said. (More Mohammed Abu Khdeir stories.)
