(Newser) – Weird Al Yankovic's latest album, Mandatory Fun, is out today—and to celebrate, the parody artist is releasing eight music videos in eight days, Nerdist reports. Yesterday's was "Tacky," a parody of Pharrell's "Happy" that features Jack Black, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho, Eric Stonestreet, and Aisha Tyler—plus Al, of course—in their tackiest outfits, singing or lip-syncing to lyrics like, "I would live-tweet a funeral, take selfies with the deceased." Based on Al's website, today's video will be "Word Crimes"—Vulture took a look at the album's track list last week, and guessed "Word Crimes" would be a parody of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."

I remember in the mid 70's hiding under the bed covers at night with an AM transistor radio and listening to the Doctor Demento Show being broadcast from Kansas City. He kept introducing this brand new 16 year old talent named Al Yankovic singing "M-M-M-My Bologna".I've loved his work ever since.

Weird Al puts on a terrific concert! He also has a degree in architecture. He has been nominated for about 15 grammys, and has won about 4 of them. His song about EBAY was a cautionary tale for me soon after I got my first computer...
