It’s a classic case of "out of the frying pan and into the fire." Roger Wayne Beasley Jr., 30, was driving around Wednesday in Biloxi when a cop recognized him and remembered one very important thing—Beasley didn’t have a license, the police chief tells Mississippi's Sun Herald. Beasley allegedly turned onto another street, jumped ship, and fled on foot. The officer gave chase. Beasley probably thought he was home free when he began to enter a nearby building—but it turns out that building was the Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy building, and police academy training was in progress.

Instead of orchestrating an escape, Beasley was slapped with a number of charges—namely possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, resisting arrest, no driver's license, careless driving, improper lane change, resisting arrest, and failure to comply. (In other oddball police chases, this woman led police to her favorite jail—at 100mph.)
