The scene may have drawn a few giggles in The Hangover Part III, but the horrific, real-life death of a giraffe on a South African highway this week has animal rights activists fuming. A witness tweeted a picture of two giraffes sticking out of a truck on a highway, with the message, "Look how low that bridge is and how tall the giraffes are." Sure enough, a giraffe died after "one of them cracked (its) head" on a low highway bridge, a rep for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals tells NBC News. "We will be looking at a prosecution under animal cruelty legislation." (More giraffes stories.)
