A selfie turned deadly for a 21-year-old man, thanks to the toxic mix of alcohol and a loaded gun. After a night drinking with two friends in Mexico City, Oscar Otero Aguilar decided to take a picture of himself with his loaded .45-caliber pistol pointed at his head. Unfortunately, he appears to have accidentally pulled the trigger, unloading a bullet straight into his forehead and killing himself, reports the New York Post, citing local media.

Aguilar was at his home at the time, and neighbors say they heard the gunshot followed quickly by screaming. One friend stayed at the scene and was arrested, while another fled. Still, officials say it looks like an accident, and that the selfie had been intended to be posted on Facebook, along with many other photos Aguilar had posted of himself with women, cars, motorcycles, and drinks, reports the Telegraph. His friend says Aguilar didn't realize the gun was loaded. (In May, a teenager died while trying to take a selfie in front of a moving train.)
