The US has its second Ebola patient on the ground. Nancy Writebol arrived in Atlanta today for care in Emory University Hospital—the facility where Dr. Kent Brantly, her fellow missionary worker in Liberia, is also being treated, NBC News notes. She arrived at Dobbins Air Force Base at about 11:30 this morning, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Both she and Brantly have been treated with an experimental drug called ZMapp. As of yesterday, Writebol was "up and walking," says an official with the organization she worked with in Liberia. For their part, health officials in Atlanta are tired of getting hate mail over their willingness to treat the patients. (More Ebola stories.)
