Cops: Hungry Burglar Cooked Crab Cakes
No crabcakes for Stephen Quinn.   (Rehoboth Beach Police)

Going to a restaurant for crabcakes and a few drinks isn't exactly unusual behavior in the mid-Atlantic states, but most people do it when the place is open. Not Stephen Quinn: Police following up on a report of somebody breaking the glass front door of a cafe in Rehoboth Beach, Del., found the 41-year-old in the kitchen, cooking crabcakes, reports the Daily Times of Salisbury. He had also put aside a stolen bottle of liquor, apparently to accompany the meal. He was charged with burglary, theft, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. (In Florida last month, three naked thieves broke into a restaurant and made off with 60 burgers—and a paddleboard.)
