(Newser) – Michael J. Fox says he was "stunned" to discover that his friend, supporter, and former prime-time rival Robin Williams also suffered from Parkinson's Disease. "Stunned to learn Robin had PD. Pretty sure his support for our Fdn predated his diagnosis. A true friend; I wish him peace," Fox tweeted, referring to Williams' fundraising for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, the Independent reports. Williams was in the early stages of the disease, his wife revealed yesterday. Fox, who described Williams as "famously kind, ferociously funny, a genius, and a gentle soul," was diagnosed with the disease in 1991, but did not make the diagnosis public until seven years later, ABC notes.

I agree 100 percent that the claim that he had cut his wrists were NOT true. He may have hung himself because of the depression, true. Famous people, especially "actors" are notorious for doing things that normal people don't understand. Money and fame separates the two classes apart. Rich people have a LOT of free time on their hands plus the fact their "need" to experience the ULTIMATE in life's journey into the 'UNKOWN" pleasures. Add to this that to know that all the MONEY in life cannot spare them from human invulnerability to illnesses, ect..ect...ect...With this knowledge comes disappointment and depression for them. Their ONE desire..is to discover the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH, which eludes everyone..no matter WHO you are in this life.... RIP Robin....
