CeeLo Green's Twitter account has disappeared after a series of tweets on the definition of rape, Sky News reports. The comments came after Green pleaded no contest following an accusation that he'd slipped a woman ecstasy; his no-contest plea, however, was to voluntarily sharing ecstasy, not secretly slipping it to her, TMZ notes. The woman said that she found herself naked in the singer's bed afterward, but prosecutors didn't find enough evidence to charge him with sexual assault.

Following his plea Friday, Green tweeted Sunday: "People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!" Sky reports. "If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent," he posted. He later deleted these tweets, Billboard notes, and posted an apology yesterday before deleting his account entirely. "I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context," he wrote. "I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this … I'd never condone the harm of any women." Green has been sentenced to 360 hours of community service along with three years' probation and a series of AA meetings, TMZ notes. (More CeeLo Green stories.)
