(Newser) – A 14-year-old boy in Florida really, really didn't want to go to school and was willing to accept the consequences: The St. Augustine teen was handcuffed and arrested after his mother called the cops, having first tried taking away his phone and disconnecting the Internet, reports the Smoking Gun. A police report states that the teen, who was still in his bedroom when cops arrived, told officers he wasn't going to school, and when he was informed that the only other option was jail, he said, "Do what you gotta do. I'm not going to school." The teen and his mother had recently moved to Florida from New York, and he told officers that he wanted to go to school in New York, the police report states.
