A Michigan woman says she "didn't feel like walking" home after allegedly stealing $600 in clothing from Walmart, the Muskegon Chronicle reports. Shirley Mason's turtle-paced getaway on one of the store's motorized wheelchairs ended two miles down the road when police caught up with her. A customer claimed to see her puttering out of the store parking lot on the $1,200 wheelchair. Police say Mason, 46, was found with six plastic bags stuffed with items she claimed she bought. Unable to prove it, she was arrested for organized retail crime; she later told police she planned to sell the clothes. Police also uncovered an outstanding warrant for stealing at another Walmart and tacked on that charge as well. (This shoplifter used a kilt to hide his loot.)
