Church Launches 'Sex Challenge'
The Relevant Church wants its married members to have sex every day for 30 days. "When you talk about sex, everybody expects the church to say God hates sex," Pastor Paul Wirth said. "That's just not true.I really believe that God wants us to have great sex."    ((c) Luís Guilherme)

A Florida church has issued a 30-day "sex challenge" to its members that's likely to be a much bigger hit with those who are married—at least the husbands among them—than the singles, the St. Petersburg Times reports. The Relevant Church wants married couples to have sex every day for 30 days, and singles to abstain for the entire month. Leaders say this will strengthen marriages, and give unmarried couples the opportunity to discover how well they get along with their clothes on.

Church leaders said the main concerns of their mostly young congregation are sex and money—and they've already dealt with money. "Everybody expects the church to say God hates sex," said the pastor. "That's just not true. I believe God wants us to have great sex." One married churchgoer said the challenge would help his marriage gain focus, and added that his friends had been asking how to join the church. (More sex stories.)
