Jessica Simpson wants to ban a workout video from being released, MSNBC reports, after the star apparently showed up to shoot it in less than top condition. “Jessica was a mess during that shoot," a source says. The owner of the video company charges Simpson would be "hurting millions of fat people in America," if she put the tape on hold.

Simpson has a history of showing up to shoots without looking her best, says an editor who worked with her in the past: "She showed up and looked like she’d been drinking." And while MSNBC's source thinks the fitness tape would be popular, the last thing Simpson needs "is to have the makings of a Saturday Night Live skit out there for public consumption.” (More Jessica Simpson stories.)
