Two Louisiana teachers have been arrested and accused of seducing a student—after the then-16-year-old boy bragged about having a ménage à trois with them. School officials heard about the teen's boasts and alerted authorities, who questioned him; he told detectives what happened and said it was all consensual. However, as the legal age of consent in Louisiana is 17, Rachel Respess, 24, and Shelley Dufresne, 32, were arrested for allegedly having a threesome with the boy at Respess' apartment after a Destrehan High School football game last month, the Times-Picayune reports. They were also, not surprisingly, suspended from their jobs without pay. Respess was the teen's English teacher last year, and Dufresne was his English teacher this year until her arrest; the two teachers are friends, police say.

Dufresne was arrested Tuesday on charges of another tryst with the boy, this one at her home, and Respess surrendered yesterday. "[Respess] gave a similar account of his story," says the police chief, who added she did not get into "intricate details" or give a "total confession." She's been teaching at Destrehan for two years, the St. Charles Herald Guide reports, while Dufresne—who is married with three kids—has been there for a decade. Both face charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, which could carry a sentence as long as 17 years. The kicker? There's a rumor going around that the threesome was recorded, and WDSU reports that detectives are reviewing "images ... of the three together." (The teacher who was initially sentenced to just one month for raping a student was just re-sentenced.)
