Sarah Goldberg, an actress best known for her role as Matt Camden's wife Sarah Glass Camden on 7th Heaven, died of natural causes last month at age 40. "She went to sleep and didn’t wake up," her mother tells the Chicago Sun-Times. She was celebrating the Jewish holidays at her family's Wisconsin cabin at the time, her computer in her lap when she fell asleep, on Sept. 27. Her autopsy couldn't determine the cause of death, but a heart problem is suspected.

The Sun-Times shares Goldberg's unusual break into showbiz: While helping with the table linens used on the set of 1997's My Best Friend's Wedding (her mother's linen firm provided them) she was asked to be an extra. She moved to California soon after and started securing roles. Among them: a drug-seeking college student in Training Day and a graduate student in Jurassic Park III; she also had recurring parts on 90210 and Judging Amy. The news comes as 7th Heaven actor Stephen Collins faces child molestation allegations. (More 7th Heaven stories.)
