David Michael Kalac, 33, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder outside Portland, Ore. His girlfriend, 30-year-old Amber Lynn Coplin, was found dead in her apartment near Seattle Tuesday, hours after someone claiming to be the killer anonymously posted graphic photos of her body to Imgur and 4chan, reports CNN. Coplin, who reportedly lived with Kalac and her 13-year-old son, was found with the words "she killed me first" on her bedroom wall and blinds as well as the word "dead" on her bedside driver's license.

No one was hurt in the arrest, the AP reports. "Outside of a terrorist attack this is as serious as you can get," says a deputy with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Department. He added that Kalac has a history of domestic violence and threatening law enforcement. Coplin's missing vehicle was found abandoned in Portland earlier yesterday. (Neighbors reported hearing a loud fight the night before Coplin's death.)
