Couple's Game of Monopoly Ends in Assault and Arrest
Alyssa Ferraro may not be playing Monopoly for a while.   (Hooksett Police, via CBS Boston)

Let the "get out of jail free" jokes commence. A 21-year-old woman in Hooksett, NH, was arrested Sunday on domestic violence charges related to simple assault—all reportedly over a game of Monopoly. She told police she started fighting with her boyfriend while they were playing the board game and "open hand slapped him in the face," CBS Boston reports. He apparently wasn't seriously hurt, but Alyssa Ferraro was charged anyway; she was released on $2,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on New Year's Eve. (A teen's Battleship game with her dad went terribly wrong.)
