The next portion of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson's ABC News interview with Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos has been released, and Wilson has some updates for everyone. He admits that his life has been "stressful" since the shooting and reveals that he even grew a beard to hide from the public. He says that being a police officer was all he wanted to do, telling Stephanopoulos that his only goal before everything happened "was to be promoted to sergeant—I wanted to stay on the road for 30 years."

When the GMA host inquires about his Oct. 24 marriage to fellow officer Barbara Spradling, adding, "And you're about to have a baby," Wilson replies, "Yes. I'm really just a simple guy—that's all I am." Meanwhile, Brown's parents appeared on the Today show this morning, with Michael Brown Sr. telling Savannah Guthrie that Wilson's first public comments "sounded crazy" and mom Lesley McSpadden adding Wilson's words were "disrespectful."
