(Newser) Calvin Klein model, Malala BFF, Orlando Bloom nemesis, and now … Comedy Central roastee? The comedy network has just made Justin Bieber's dream of allegedly the past few years come true by announcing that the 20-year-old singer will be the headliner at its next roast, scheduled to tape March 7, US Weekly reports. Ryan Seacrest confirmed the news on Twitter this morning, adding, "love u justin but it's time lol." "Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We're thrilled he listened," Comedy Central's president of content development said in a statement, per TV by the Numbers. Bieber will attend the Los Angeles taping to absorb his public bashing in person, US Weekly notes.

Reaction to the news under the #BieberRoast hashtag is, well, more or less a pre-roast roast. "Hysterical," "OMG," and "finally!" are some of the comments streaming fast and furious down the feeds, as well as the obligatory "put Justin's head on a roasted bird" entries. Suggested excoriation topics range from his "butter colored hair" to TMZ's helpful list of his fear of shirts, egging obsession, and "oh yeah, his music career." However, more than a few fans are claiming his quest to be comically squashed is a wise preemptive strike. "Justin is smart. It's better to laugh along when people make fun of you than to let it get to you. Justin has grown so much," one Belieber tweets. If Justin's Twitter feed is any gauge of how thick his skin is, he'll handle the roast well: After Saturday Night Live parodied his Calvin Klein underwear ad this weekend, he tweeted, "well played. Lol."
