Bill Cunningham has “had it up to here with John McCain,” the conservative talk-show host tells CNN of the likely GOP presidential nominee. By apologizing for Cunningham’s remarks at a McCain rally yesterday—in which Cunningham called Barack Obama a “hack” and repeatedly used his middle name, Hussein—McCain “threw me under the ‘Straight Talk Express,’” Cunningham says.

Cunningham—who vowed to join fellow conservative Ann Coulter in supporting Hillary Clinton—called Hussein a “proud Muslim name,” adding, "I have nothing but respect for my Muslim brothers and sisters." McCain said he had never met Cunningham, and condemned such “disparaging remarks.” Cunningham says organizers asked him to “fire up the crowd” and thinks McCain “ought to attack Democrats, and quit attacking conservatives like me.” (More John McCain stories.)
