Ahmad "Real" Givens, star of VH1 reality shows including Real Chance of Love, has died of colon cancer at age 33, People reports. Givens learned he had stage four colon cancer in March 2013, E! Online reports; at the time, the site notes, he heard he had two weeks to live, he told UrbanDaily. He went through chemotherapy, and People quotes an interview in which he described what kept him going: "Number one is the will to live. I love life. And my little boy, man. That kid loves me to death," he said.

The dating show featured Givens and his brother Kamal, known as "Chance," who offered a tribute to his brother on Instagram, calling his brother "my favorite guy in this whole world": "Be in peace we love you forever bro I'll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God's kindom (sic) forever and ever bro words can't describe my pain world pray for me!"
