A mother dog and her nine puppies are making headlines and providing a bit of good news for residents of Valparaíso, Chile, after a devastating forest fire. TV images shows rescuers pulling all nine pups to safety from a hole dug by mom, reports Mashable, citing a report in Telemundo. Mama dog also survived the fire and was found taking shelter nearby. All have been reunited, and locals are reportedly clamoring to provide homes. Meanwhile, one person was killed and thousands evacuated during the fire, reports the BBC.
