"That was stupid of me" is what Christopher Robert Kling allegedly said to Beaverton, Ore., police as he allegedly wept during his arrest for allegedly committing what is not allegedly (but actually) an awful crime: blowing pot smoke into his own 1-year-old baby's mouth, KATU reports. The 22-year-old was busted after cops were called to mitigate a domestic disturbance Sunday between Kling and his estranged wife, NBC News reports. Police settled everyone down after they arrived, but then a family friend handed over a video that reportedly shows Kling huffing marijuana smoke from a glass pipe, then exhaling into the baby's mouth; the pal added it wasn't the first time Kling had done this.

Police aren't releasing the video, per KATU, but according to court documents, one of the officers who viewed it noted he "saw and heard (the baby) cough and saw smoke exit his mouth." KATU says it tracked down the family friend on the phone, who said the video was "heartbreaking." Kling is currently incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on felony charges of application of a controlled substance to a minor, notes NBC; his next court appearance is scheduled for March 30, KATU reports. (A young mom admitted she toked up and left her baby on the car roof—then drove off.)
