Vote for Hillary, Limbaugh Urges Listeners

Posted Mar 4, 08 4:49 AM CST in Arts & Living Politics

(Newser) – Even right-wing standard bearer Rush Limbaugh's most loyal dittoheads might balk at their latest orders from the radio host: he's urging his listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton in today's Texas primary, CNN reports. "I want Hillary to stay in this," Limbaugh told listeners. "This is too good a soap opera." Limbaugh wants the Democratic infighting to carry on for as long as possible.

Some listeners seemed perturbed at the thought of voting for Clinton, even though Limbaugh made it clear he hadn't suddenly changed sides. Limbaugh told listeners that he thought the Dems could savage Barack Obama better than the GOP could manage. "We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically. It's obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it—they don't have the stomach for it," he said.
