(Newser) – The Warriors matched their best road win total in 14 years, imposing one of their trademark track-meet games on the Hawks, 135-118. Baron Davis had 35 points and Stephen Jackson added 29 for Golden State, now 16-12 outside of Oracle Arena. Atlanta's Joe Johnson led all scorers with 38 points, but had just nine after halftime.

Josh Smith and Marvin Williams added 20 apiece in the loss. The third quarter proved decisive; Golden State's 15-0 run halfway through gave them the lead for good. The highest-scoring team in the NBA this season, the Warriors have scored 100 points or more in its last 23 games—a stretch that includes only six losses.
