(Newser) – A mom who wasn't happy with the skimpy crop top her 16-year-old daughter ordered off of Amazon gave the $4.99 top (full product name: "Lady Padded Bra Tops Bustier Cutout Vest Crop Top Bralette Tank Blouse") just one star on the site back in April. But she didn't stop there, as Mashable notes. Along with her short customer review, in which she acknowledged she "probably couldn't legally post a picture of what it looks like if [her daughter] attempts to wear" the "ridiculously small" top, "Christy" posted a picture of her cat, Princess, adorned in the crocheted number, which is only available in one size on the site. "Here is a picture of our cat wearing it," she writes. "To be fair, it does cover all of the cats [sic] nipples, however, she hates the weave. In summary, do not buy this, even for your cat."

Reviewers appreciated Christy's sense of fashion and humor, with one calling her "mom of the year," another dubbing it the "Best and most informative review ever!!" and many using the word "awesome." Other commenters noted Princess' potential as a model, writing "Your cat does the garment justice!" and "the color of the 'fabric' compliments your cat's eyes wonderfully.' E! Online hails the feline model as "a cat so brave she dared to bare her body to the entire Internet just to prove a point about gender politics," adding "we'd like to applaud her, but first we'd like to scratch that adorable (and scandalously exposed) belly." And, somewhat predictably, BuzzFeed already has a poll going on whether the public thinks "all cats should wear crochet bra tops." (Go down the rabbit hole: Read more amazing Amazon reviews.)
