Obama Says He'll Sharpen His Attacks

Posted Mar 5, 08 6:08 PM CST in Politics

(Newser) – Getting up off the canvas after yesterday's primary losses, Barack Obama promised to escalate criticism of Hillary Clinton over the next few days, targeting in particular her claim to be the candidate with the most foreign policy experience. "What exactly is this foreign policy experience?" Obama asked. "Was she negotiating treaties? Was she handling crises? The answer is no."

"We're happy to join the debate, if that's the debate they want," Obama said. "In the coming weeks, we will join her in that argument." Obama also chided the press for being "persuaded that you had been too hard on her and too soft on me," the AP reports. "Complaining about the refs apparently worked a little bit."
