May the Force be with you a little longer. After the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens this Christmas, production will begin on an untitled movie focusing on the back story of Han Solo's character before all the space action you've come to know and love, reports the BBC. There's no word on casting, but Hollywood Reporter notes Christopher Miller and Phil Lord of The Lego Movie will direct. Father-son duo Lawrence and Jon Kasdan will handle the script. Lawrence Kasdan co-wrote The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens. The new film is due out on May 25, 2018. (Rumors are flying about another Star Wars spinoff.)
