LeBron Shines Again, But Bulls Best Cavs

Posted Mar 7, 08 12:09 AM CST in Sports

(Newser) – King James tried his best, but Cleveland was unable to overcome the Bulls tonight, losing 107-96. Just one day after scoring 50 points in New York, he netted another 39 in Chicago. Ben Gordon and Luol Deng each scored 23 points for the Bulls, with most of their damage coming in the third quarter, outscoring the Cavs, 34-16, reports the AP.

Bulls rookie Joakim Noah was a force to be reckoned with, snagging a career-high 20 rebounds and scoring 13 points. Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes contributed an additional 12 points each for Chicago. Former Bull Ben Wallace managed a mere two points with 10 rebounds, in his first visit to the United Center since being traded to Cleveland last month.
